The glistening blanket snow in the winter months in Davos is the dreamiest destination for on-and-off piste winter enjoyment.

Bird’s-eye view: for a unique experience, glide like a bird over the magical mountain ranges on a tandem paragliding flight. Paragliding requires teamwork and trust, as you fly with your instructor and steer together to navigate across the vistas of Davos. This is a unique experience, which will create long lasting memories to be treasured.

Peak performer: magnificent moments on the slopes of Davos Klosters awaits. Whether you prefer the freestyle mountain Jakobshorn, the ski classic Parsenn or the two family-friendly mountains Madrisa and Rinerhorn, there is an option for every skier and snowboarder in Davos. There is also the decelerated Schatzalp ski area and the freeride mountain Pischa. Here you will find 300 km of guaranteed snow pistes and 57 transport facilities with a capacity of 64,421 people per hour. There are approximately 110 slopes in Davos with 80% of them reaching 2,000 metres above sea level.

Family friends sledging: toboggaining is a fantastic activity to be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Davos is a popular location for sledging, with routes to navigate over 33 bends and a unique configuration of steep turns. Impressive tracks reach 3.7 km in length and are located directly under cable cars for ease of transportation. Fly on an airboad: the Airboard is the inflatable body-board for the snow slopes which can be controlled by weight movement, to fly over fresh pillow of now. The Airboard, is a Swiss creation and can be ridden on all toboggan runs on the Davos Klosters mountains.

On trend: originally invented in Alaska, fat bikes are now also used in winter in Davos, for the coolest kids in town. These bikes ride especially easily on up to 30 centimetres of snow, with many people comparing this new on-trend sport to the early days of snowboarding. Fatbikes can be hired at the Pischa valley station at an affordable rate.
